Details
Black Point Estate and the Geneva Tap House are collaborating on a new winter program series called Geneva Lake Storytellers. “This program was designed to help us build community, especially during the cold, dark and often dreary winter months” said Dave Desimone, the director of Black Pont Estate and Gardens. The concept is really pretty straight forward, twice a month, we will gather at the Geneva Tap House and here three community members share a personal story. The stories can be fiction or non-fiction, really just about anything: that favorite childhood pet, the grand adventure that changed your life, the best or worst job you ever had, the one that got away, whatever you want to share. We will have three storytellers scheduled for each session and they will have up to 12 minutes to share their story. Following the third storyteller, we will ask the audience if anyone has a story they’d like to share.
- Starting in December we will be hosting a storyteller program on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
- Click the December link above for more details on the storytellers for the first session!
- The event is free and open to everyone.
- We will gather at 6:00PM and the program starts at 6:30PM
- Stories can be from 1-12 minutes in length.
If you have a story to tell and would like to participate you can message Black Point Estate on their Facebook page. - Starting in December we will be hosting a storyteller program on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
