The Geneva Lake Arts Foundation invites you to their Fall Virtual Workshops featuring nationally known artists in the fields of pastel and watercolor painting. Each two-day workshop will feature demonstrations, dialogues, personal feedback and online critiques.
October 17 - 18, 2020 A Virtual Landscape Pastel Workshop, taught by award winning pastel artist Nancie King Mertz will take place Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18 from 10 am to 4 pm both days. The class is followed by an online critique from 4 to 6 pm. The workshop is open to artists of all levels, including beginners. November 14 - 15, 2020 An online watercolor painting workshop is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15 from 9 am to noon each day. This workshop features nationally known artist and instructor Spencer Meagher, who specializes in strong design and understanding values as a solid foundation for successful painting. He will provide real time feedback and instruction as you work, as well as demonstrations of techniques. The cost to attend Meagher’s class is $100 for GLAF members and $125 for non-members.
