Meet the Artist

Join us on November 15th from 11AM - 3PM at the Cornerstone Shop to meet Marla Shega, a local artist from Geneva, IL.

We will have some of her beautiful artwork available at the store to showcase her work.

Marla's bio:

Marla studied art abroad in Florence, Rome, Paris, and London—experiences that shaped her appreciation for architecture and design. Now based in Chicago, Marla draws inspiration from the city’s rich history and iconic landmarks, capturing beloved sites such as Marshall Field’s at Christmas. A former commercial illustrator for national brands including Coca-Cola and McDonald’s, her pen and ink drawings are tinted with watercolors and celebrate Chicago’s heritage and holiday spirit.
