Splash, Sparkle, and Bloom | A GCA Flower Show

The Lake Geneva Garden Club is sponsoring a nationwide Garden Club of America Flower Show to be held on THURSDAY, AUGUST 6, 2026 at the historic RIVIERA BALLROOM on the shores of Geneva Lake, 812 Wrigley Drive, Lake Geneva, WI.

This event is open to the public, free of charge, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

“Expect a stunning array of creativity and beauty,” says Tami Pringle of the Lake Geneva Garden Club.  “As this is a Garden Club of America Flower Show, GCA member exhibitors, both local and nationwide, will be required to follow strict and specific guidelines in the areas of floral design, horticulture, photography, conservation and botanical arts.  While spectators are invited to simply come, enjoy and immerse themselves in it all!”

Categories for the various entries play on the natural and cultural history of Geneva Lake with titles including “Shimmering Sunset”; “Kishwauketoe: Lake of the Sparkling Water”; “Cocktail Cruise”; “Venetian Night”; “Along the Shore”; and “Cutting Garden".

Roughly 30 GCA-approved judges from across the country will judge the show and will bestow prestigious, nation-wide awards for various categories.

The Lake Geneva Garden Club is partnering with two other local organizations for this show. The Geneva Lake Arts Foundation is loaning four (4) pieces of art to be used in one of the floral design categories as inspiration for designers as they interpret their floral creations in relation to these unique and specific paintings.  Also, the Geneva Lake Conservancy will be partnering with the LGGC in helping to provide an educational conservation display on “Keep It Blue”, the local mission to protect and improve the beauty and cleanliness of Geneva Lake and its shoreline.
