Overview
A most intriguing invitation has crossed my desk—one of a rather floral variety that promises to unveil the secret language that has shaped countless romances and ruined just as many reputations. Black Point Estate shall host an evening dedicated to floriography, that most subtle art of speaking through petals and blooms.
On July 12th, as evening descends, the estate's halls shall be transformed into a veritable garden of whispered messages. These arrangements will reflect the deepest secrets, subtleties and desires of the gentry—a practice every socialite understands to be the proper way to communicate such bold sentiments. Each room, I'm told, shall display blooms that once sparked scandals, sealed engagements, or perhaps even broke hearts. One can only imagine the delicious secrets these petals might reveal.
Throughout the course of the evening, guests shall be treated to refreshments as the estate sheds light on the role of Victorian florists in traditional society—those clever artisans that once held the power to make or break the most promising of matches.

Parking for this event will be off-site at Reek School, W4094 South Lake Shore Drive, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. One of our team members will be in the school parking lot and will check everyone in. You will be notified a week before the event with any additional parking information.
- The museum store is open during operating hours.
- Except for water, outside beverages and food are not allowed. Black Point Estate will provide food and drinks on-site.
- Restrooms are available at the estate.
- The estate will remain open rain or shine.
- The first floor of the estate is ADA accessible.
