Caitlin Carmody has over 20 years of experience in the riding and training of American Saddlebreds as well as several other breeds and riding disciplines. A noted Equitation Champion, Ms. Carmody was Reserve National Champion in 2006 and took home the bronze medal at the National Pleasure Equitation Olympic Finals. Throughout her career, Ms. Carmody has worked with several top Midwest trainers and has trained many top horses and riders to National and World Championship titles.
In 2013, Caitlin Carmody established Caitlin Carmody Stables, LLC which specializes in Saddle Seat Equitation, English Saddle Seat horseback riding lessons, training, and sales. Since opening CCS in 2013 Caitlin has grown from a 6 stall sheet metal barn to a 34 stall saddlebred barn located in the heart of Lake Geneva. Located conveniently off of HWY 12, Caitlin is able to serve clients in both Wisconsin and Illinois.
Caitlin enjoys both the instruction and training aspects of her business. As a skilled horseback riding instructor, both beginner and advanced students attribute their progress to her positive attitude, willingness to teach, and expert coaching. Recently she took four horses to the world championships, all placing top 10. Soon after she coached Rebecca Dickman to a National Equitation Title.
Ms. Carmody enjoys a challenge and has a knack for taking on more "difficult" horses. With the right environment, encouragement, and training, Ms. Carmody rehabilitates horses to the best version of themselves.
