In 1976 Bill Rose and his son Eric founded the River Valley Ranch mushroom farm in the Fox River Valley in Burlington, WI. While focused on producing the finest, chemical free mushrooms, they also produced a variety of other chemical free vegetable crops and thrived on local farmer's market business and direct sales at the farm store.In 1997 Eric established a commercial kitchen. For more than ten years, the farm kitchen has been producing artisanal sauces, dips, salsas and pickled vegetables using Eric's own uniqure pickling process that ensures the best flavor ad texture of each and every mushroom in the jar. The Farm kitchen continues to cook up new recipes under our new name, Ribver Valley Kitchens, while the farm continues to grow the fresh products for you and our kitchen. We continue to grow chemical free and can products without artifical preservatives or additives.
