Forty years ago, Jennifer and George Forbeck faced an unimaginable tragedy—the loss of their son, William Guy “Billy” Forbeck, to neuroblastoma cancer. Billy may have only lived 11 years, but his spirit lives on through the transformative work of the Forbeck Foundation.

Our unwavering mission is to fund and execute scientific cancer research meetings bringing cancer’s leading thinkers together in one room to foster progress in the fight against cancer.

We’re proud to host our annual Spring and Fall Scholar Retreats in Lake Geneva, providing a beautiful setting for groundbreaking work that advances cancer research and improves patient outcomes.
