The Geneva Lake Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of environmentally sensitive lands, open space and the unique character and quality of life of Walworth County, Wisconsin. Working with landowners, and government officials, the Conservancy advocates private and public land use and management decisions that assure responsible growth and protection of natural and historic resources.

GLC Hillmoor workdays will be discontinued until further notice. We hope to resume workdays in the spring. Watch our emails and social medias for updates.

Stay tuned for more information on our spring events! There will be a workday at the White River County Park in March, date tbd. The GLC’s Native Plant Sale Ordering begins on April 1st, with pickup on May 10th. On Friday, April 12 there will be a Bromley preserve workday, 9 am – noon.

Children’s Fishing Park

The Helen Rohner Children’s Fishing Park is located at 159 Elkhorn Road, Williams Bay, WI  53191 (42.580378878191574, -88.54095545900142)

Registration for fishing classes will open May 1.

The 2023 Annual “Small Nature Photo Contest” encouraged looking for small and simple beauty at Helen Rohner Children’s Fishing Park. Over 175 entries were received. Look for winning photos and information on 2022 contest in our Winter 2023 Newsletter.

All of the Conservancy’s preserves are open to visitors so go for a walk at Rohner and visit the amphibian pond, butterfly garden and native plant garden. Take a moment to relax at the thinking spot!
