Team Name: Granite State Snow Sculptors
Sculpture Title: One Bear Band
Artist Statement: Music is a medium that helps to transport us. When we are down it lifts us up, when we need inspiration it can inspire, and when we need to connect with our memories it will help to remind us. The goal of this piece is to help relay this connection to the audience
Team Members:
- John Woodard (Captain) - Award winning Sculptor of Sand (7 years), Snow (11+ years), and Pumpkins (7 years). Grew up Playing in Snow in NH and now lives in NJ with wife and son.
- Jeff Brown - Jeff Brown is a 3d artist and professional pumpkin carver who has competed on Food Network's Halloween Wars. His very first time snow sculpting was at the 2020 Nationals.
- Glenn Woodard - Has been carving snow with team captain, and cousin, John Woodard, for several years. As a team they have won the NH sanctioned twice and won the 2020 Nationals People's
choice and Second Place overall.
