Competition Guidelines
Winterfest & America’s Snow Sculpting Invitational is a family-oriented event, and sculptures must be suitable for all audiences. Teams will be provided with a snow block that is 8 feet by 8 feet by 10 feet tall. Sculptures must be carved on all sides and stay within a 12-foot perimeter around the snow block. There is no restriction on height, but safety should always be a priority. Only snow, water, and ice can be used as an embellishment. Any ice must be made onsite and used sparingly. The use of other materials, colorants, molds, armatures, or external supports is strictly prohibited. All work must be completed onsite, and no external cooling equipment or freezers are allowed.

First, Second, and Third Place Awards
A qualified panel of judges who are familiar with the art form and its challenges will be selected. Sculptures will be judged immediately following the conclusion of the competition period at 11am Saturday, January 31.
