Dear Partners,
Thank you for making this year’s Winterfest & U.S. National Snow Sculpting Championship the winter event of the year. With warm February weather we had record-breaking crowds, and with cold insulating blankets, (thank you Keisler Contractors of Elkhorn) every snow sculpture made it through the competition. Dear Partners,
Thank you to everyone who attended the 48th Annual Electric Christmas Parade in downtown Lake Geneva. We had record-breaking attendance with 86 floats, bands, dancers and dignitaries. A panel of 4 volunteer parade judges, made up of this year’s Impact Award winners, were in charge of selecting the best non-profit float. The winner was no surprise – the Lake Geneva Badger High School Football Team, WIAA Division II State Football Champions. For the win they’ll receive $500. READ MORE >

It has been a beautiful Summer, and it’s far from over. That’s why beginning this weekend you’ll see our new Visit Lake Geneva-Donald Driver tourism commercial broadcast via streaming television, Google video ads, digital video boards, Inside the Huddle and on Spectrum News 1. A big thank you to Safari Lake Geneva, Tristan Crist Magic Theatre, Haberdapper Men’s Clothing, The Riviera, Riviera Beach and Lake Geneva Cruise Line for helping us with outstanding businesses and locales to film. You made the process and commercial a delight. A special shout out to Going Bananas for a non-alcoholic pineapple drink to end the ad. You’ll have to watch the commercial to learn more. (HINT: check Visit Lake Geneva social media pages this Friday at 8:00am!) READ MORE >

Dear Partners,
Just two days after celebrating our country’s independence, VISIT Lake Geneva was pleased to host Donald Driver, who is the star of our next marketing and PR campaign. We all know our Chicago and Illinois friends love it here, but the next endeavor has our eyes set on focusing to get our fellow Wisconsinites to the region. Instead of going North in Wisconsin, we want folks throughout the state to come South. Donald Driver was an absolute joy to work with – and we tested his adventurous side in spades. I won’t give out details yet but when the commercial is broadcast you’ll see firsthand he tackled everything we put in front of him. READ MORE >
