Join us at the Lake Geneva School of Cooking as we celebrate the recipes and cuisine of Julia Child and honoring her memoir, My Life in France. Julia’s fun and approachable cooking style allows everyone to feel at home in the kitchen. Her witty character and passion for sharing her love of cooking allows Chef John to create a relaxed feel to this class. Whether you’re looking to add a little French inspiration into your cooking or just have an entertaining evening out, this is the class for you!
In this hands-on class, you will learn how to make the best of Julia’s very own recipes. Her goal was to make all home chefs to feel comfortable and confident in the kitchen, even when preparing fine foods and intimidating recipes.
The Lake Geneva School of Cooking embraces this approach and brings it to life with an intuitive and enjoyable culinary event. Classes are held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Our menu will include some of Julia Child’s favorite courses: French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, Chicken Coq au Vin, and Chocolate Mousse.
Once this hands-on class is complete, we will do as Julia did: Take off our aprons and enjoy our meal!
