Mission
The 531 Fund, formerly known as Santa Cause, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to creating a lasting and positive impact in southern Wisconsin by empowering local charities through dedicated support and innovative partnerships. Since 2016, we have donated over $10000,000 to various charities, underscoring our commitment to community enrichment. Our events, such as the Christmas Tree Festival, Freezin' for a Reason and The Balloon Adventure, have supported over 20 organizations in Walworth County alone. As we expand our reach, we aim to impact numerous organizations throughout southeastern Wisconsin, fostering a thriving, supportive community through our charitable initiatives.
Community Resources
One notable initiative by the 531 Fund is "The Balloon Adventure," an annual event held at Pier 290 in Lake Geneva. This immersive experience features intricate balloon art installations and interactive displays designed to captivate attendees of all ages. The 2025 theme, "Voyage into the Deep Blue Sea," promises to transport visitors into a mesmerizing underwater world. Beyond providing unique entertainment, "The Balloon Adventure" serves a philanthropic purpose by supporting local charities. For instance, proceeds from the event have been directed to organizations like Camp Timber-lee, enabling more children to experience the enriching environment of summer camp. By combining art, community engagement, and charitable giving, the 531 Fund creates events that not only entertain but also significantly benefit residents of the Lake Geneva community.

531 Fund’s most urgent need at this time is capital to cover event costs, ensuring that a greater portion of proceeds can directly benefit the charities we support. By securing funding upfront, we can maximize our impact, allowing more resources to go toward vital community programs and services.
