Mission
Protect and Enhance the historic Hillmoor land and waterway, with the intent it will become a sustainable public and recreational resource, benefiting the community and visitors of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for this day and all days to come.
Community Resources
Originally formed to lead the goal of saving Hillmoor as public green space, we now facilitate public outreach and events to engage residents in planning and enjoying the trails and nature space. We host clean-up and planting events, informational events on the progress of developing Hillmoor, and fundraising events to assist with the development of Hillmoor's green spaces and walk-ways. We also assist residents by providing resources and education on how to make their own yards a haven for themselves and nature's creatures.
Most Urgent Need
Thanks in large part to our member Betty Volquardsen, the Avian Committee has won a small grant for native bird-friendly plants to put along the small stream that runs under Hwy 50 onto the front of Hillmoor to attract bug and bird diversity on HIllmoor. Along with the grant, the Friends have promised to help with the cost of preparing the land for the plantings. Please help us pay for this excavation. We need to raise at least $500 to complete this work.
