Mission: Social isolation is one of the biggest health challenges people with disabilities face. myTEAM TRIUMPH provides equipment and logistical support in a teamwork environment of endurance athletics which brings people with diverse abilities together to build relationships and compete in running, biking and triathlon events. The result is increase self-confidence, a greater sense of purpose and a more inclusive community. 

Community Resources: Every year, our Lake Geneva region provides 6 months of weekly training runs and inclusive endurance events for people with diverse abilities. We host weekly trainings at Big Foot Beach State Park. Some of the local races we participate in include: Sprint for Spring 5k, Super Hero Shuffle, Big Foot Triathlon, Semper Running Half Marathon, Inspiration Ministries 5k, Lake Geneva Triathlon and more! These opportunities provide people of all abilities the chance to bond and participate together. It gives them a platform and a voice to bond in a rapid and authentic way with their community. It helps our community see beyond the wheelchair and into the heart of the individual!    

Most Urgent Need: Funding to support our inclusive training and racing events. The experience is completely free for our Captains (athletes with disabilities). myTEAM TRIUMPH provides all the specialized race equipment, maintenance on the chairs, race registration fees and hospitality for the athletes and their families on race day.
