Riviera Beach is located on Wrigley Drive in Lake Geneva, near the Geneva Lake Shore Path, the Lake Geneva Library, the Riviera Ballroom and within walking distance from Downtown Lake Geneva restaurants and shops. Daily admission to the beach is enforced in the summertime.
**NOTE: Beginning July 29, 2020, every Wednesday from 9am-1pm, Riviera Beach will be open only to Lake Geneva Resident Beach Pass holders.**
Daily Admission Wristbands
Admission will be charged on the following days: May 23 - 25, 2020 and May 30, 2020 - September 7, 2020. Daily admission to the beach can be purchased at any of the four pay stations located near the beach entrance during regular beach hours. The pay stations accept bills (not larger than $20 bills), debit and credit cards. The pay stations do not give change, however change can be obtained from the beach house with proof of purchase.Daily Beach Admission Rates:
- Children age 6 and under - Free
- Individuals age 7 and up - $8.00
Admission purchases must be made in separate transactions for ages 7-Adult ($8.00 each). Upon payment, the pay station will issue a voucher that is redeemed at the Beach House for the wristband(s). The beach attendants are there to assist you with using the pay stations.
Beach Rules
- No glass containers
- No alcohol/drugs
- No smoking
- Dogs and other pets are not allowed
- No knives or weapons
- Food and flotation devices are allowed in the beach area.
Life Guards, Beach Staff and Bathroom Access
On Duty Life Guards, beach staff and bathroom accessibility is available through Labor Day, seven days a week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Swim at your own risk when no lifeguards are on duty.Parking
Metered parking is available along the beachfront at $2.00 per hour/5 hour max. No change or refund given at meter. Parking is enforced from 9:00am to 7:00pm DAILY. Free parking is located several blocks in on smaller side streets (see Parking Map). Vehicles with VALID handicap plates or valid handicap placards can park for FREE at any metered stall. Please remember to properly display your placard or risk a ticket. We recommend familiarizing yourself with our new parking kiosks (more info HERE), or downloading the PARKMOBILE app before your visit.Resident Annual Beach Passes
Beach Passes are now available to City of Lake Geneva residents. Please submit a copy of your CURRENT utility bill and the fee, either by mail or drop box at City Hall; or by email to parking@cityoflakegeneva.com. Fees are $3.00 per pass, with a limit of 6 passes per address. No credit cards will be processed, cash or check only.Non-Resident Season Passes
All-season beach passes can be purchased at City Hall by mail or in person using the form on the brochure. Ages 7 to Adult- Season Pass $80.00During this unprecedented time with COVID-19, the City of Lake Geneva is implementing procedures for the beach that will aid in social distancing and safety. All patrons of the beach are being asked to enter at the main beach house entrance. If you have mobility concerns, there is an accessible area near the Riviera. If you need to use the Riviera entrance gate, please check in at the main beach house entrance and the staff will direct you. All patrons will be asked to adhere to the sidewalk markings to insure social distancing.
All drinking fountains located in and around the beach area have been shut off. You may bring non-alcoholic beverages to the beach in a personal cooler. Per past practices, all coolers will be checked at the entrance for alcohol/glass containers. Showers located inside the beach house will be closed, however the two outside of the beach house will remain open.
The bathrooms in the beach house will be open and cleaned on an hourly basis; the City does retain the right to close the bathrooms for more thorough cleaning or maintenance. In the event of a closure, signage will be posted notifying as such.
