Discover breathtaking views, rolling hills, rustic roads, and lakeside rides all while experiencing the joy of riding a scooter. Since 2009, Lake Geneva Scooter Tours and Rentals have been providing adventurous people with one of the best experiences they can have, not only in just Lake Geneva, but ever! Riding a scooter is very easy and does not require any previous experience. If you can ride a bicycle, you can ride a scooter. They're fully automatic and very lightweight, and you only need a regular drivers license to rent. Most of the people who rent from us have never even ridden before, but after a few lessons from our friendly staff they realize how easy it really is. We have a large parking lot and a quiet side road that you can take your time and practice on before you head out onto the streets. With all the beautiful hills, rustic roads, and lakeside rides in the Geneva Lakes area, it's perfect for scootering. We provide you with maps of our favorite scooter-friendly back roads to get you out of town and into the scenic spots including Fontana Beach, Yerkes Observatory, and Edgewater Park in Williams Bay.
The Lake Geneva Scooter Tour takes you through the area's best scenery with a few historical stops in between.... And the best part is, all you have to do is follow your friendly tour guide and enjoy the ride, which makes it perfect for larger groups or company outings. Your day begins with some lessons on basic riding skills at our facility that is perfect for beginners. We have a large parking lot and a very quiet side road that allows you to get the hang of riding before you head out onto the open roads. Once you feel very comfortable and ready to go, the route starts out on some of the easiest back rustic roads to allow you to get fully acclimated to your scooter. You will leisurely stroll through 6 officially designated Wisconsin State Rustic Roads and see some of the best country scenery around. The first stop is downtown Lake Geneva at Flatiron Park to stretch your legs and get a few fun facts about our great city (there are bathroom facilities available at the park). Then the ride gets even more interesting as you start to circle Geneva Lake on some of the most fun, winding, hilly, woodsy roads that will make you smile from ear to ear. The next stop is at 120 year old Yerkes Observatory to see one of the area's oldest landmarks. Then it's back to Lake Geneva with an awesome scooter experience not to be forgotten. We provide helmets, but please wear shoes and have some kind of glasses to cover your eyes. You must use a major credit card to rent and reservations are highly recommended.
