Walworth County Literacy Council

Walworth County Literacy Council is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer-based organization. Volunteers tutor adult students in basic education: reading, writing and math, English as a second language (ESL), GED and U.S. citizenship. Tutoring takes place at any of the 10 public county libraries or virtually. Our mission is to empower Walworth County adults through literacy so that they can achieve their educational and personal goals. Improved literacy skills increase employment and financial stability, healthcare access, community and generational benefits and civic engagement.
