Team Members:
  • Bill Wegwerth (Captain): He is a retired Firefighter of 31 years. He is married with 3 daughters and 8 grandkids. His hobbies include; woodworking, woodturning, woodcarving, snow carving and sand sculpting. When he's not at competitions he enjoys watching his grandkids participate in their sports and volunteering in their schools.

  • Dan Ross: Dan is from White Bear Lake, Minnesota and currently lives in it's neighboring community Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. He is a father of 3 kids, ages 14, 12, and 10. He coaches hockey and lacrosse for his kids. When he isn't snow sculpting with Sno Van Gogh or coaching he often found chainsaw carving. His favorite part of all of the competitions is the interaction with the public an especially the other sculptors.

  • Weston Johnson: Weston grew up in rural Minnesota and now lives and works in the Twin Cities area. He and his wife Kelly have three children ages 12, 10 and 8. When he's not playing in the snow, he enjoys coaching his kids' sports activities, watching and supporting Minnesota's sports teams, catching live music and spending time at the family cabin on one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. He joined the Sno Van Gogh snow sculpting team in 2014 and especially enjoys the camaraderie with the other teams and interacting with event visitors during sculpting events.
