Mission: Supporting Rotary Club of lake Geneva in finding & supporting local charities committed to humanitarian service & reflect the values of Rotary International, building relationships to further help charitable needs & mentor young generations to continue charitable works well into the future.
Community Resource Example: The Rotary Club’s Coats & Books for Kids provides new winter jackets and new books for youth in need, ages Pre-K through grade 5, in the Lake Geneva area. Over the past four years more than 500 youth have benefited from the warmth and self confidence provided by a new warm coat, and the opportunity to choose a new Book, often the first in their lifetime. This project is a partnership with the LG public library, the LG schools, and the Friends of the Library.
Most Urgent Need:The LG Rotary Club strives to address community and global needs through service and financial support. Proceeds from our fundraising efforts are used to support local organizations that offer relief for food insecurity, health and humanitarian needs, scholarships for high school students and to engage in projects that address global needs like polio eradication and clean water.
