Mission
We provide a broad range of services empowering people with disabilities or barriers, to achievement, purpose, and belonging within our community. These services include day services, prevocational services, community employment, and transportation.
Our work is centered on three primary pillars of service. We provide tailored job training, coaching, and placement to help individuals find meaningful employment and achieve financial independence. Our community-focused day services offer social and life-skills programming, including therapeutic horticulture and creative activities that promote community service and personal growth. Finally, we provide and manage essential transportation solutions, ensuring that those with disabilities and the elderly have reliable access to work, medical care, and their community.
Community Resource Example
VIP Services has become a dedicated partner in addressing food insecurity here in Walworth County. Our therapeutic horticulture team leads this effort, transforming vocational training into meaningful community service. In 2025, our team grew and donated over 2,000 pounds of fresh produce to local food pantries. We have set an ambitious goal to double this amount to 4,000 pounds in 2026. However, achieving this growth requires additional support for specialized equipment and expanded garden resources.
Beyond fresh produce, our horticulture team organizes "Food Drives for Pets & People." This initiative generates donations of pet food and nonperishable goods to support Walworth County residents and their companion animals facing food insecurity. Furthermore, we provide essential transportation services that help Lake Geneva residents reach medical appointments, job opportunities, and other essential services. By bridging these gaps in mobility and nutrition, we ensure that residents with disabilities and the elderly in Lake Geneva can maintain their independence and stay connected to their community. Through these programs, our clients have truly become active contributors to the health and well-being of their community.
Most Urgent Needs
VIP Services urgently needs additional adaptive tools, materials for more garden beds, and irrigation equipment to support our goal for greater crop yields. These resources will also create more opportunities for adults with disabilities to participate in our horticultural and community service activities..
