What would the holiday season be without a visit with Father Christmas! The Lake Geneva area is blessed every year to have Santa visit us multiple times before his big day. Check out the list of places he will be making a stop around the Lake Geneva area between now and Christmas Eve.
Events and Activities Where Santa's Visiting
Santa will be making an appearance at numerous events, activities, and businesses around the area. Be sure to mark your calendars and head out to get a glimpse of Jolly Old St. Nick before he heads north to get ready for the big day!
Christmas Trains on the East Troy Railroad
Weekends Nov. 30 thru Dec. 21 | Multiple Dates | East Troy Railroad Museum
Take your family on a magical ride to Santa's Workshop, where children visit Santa, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, and take home a small gift. Our Santa's Special ride will take you from our East Troy Depot to Santa's workshop located at the Elegant Farmer. This 10-mile round-trip takes just under 2 hours and the cars are heated. Trains depart at 9 am, 10:30 am, Noon, 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Here children can visit Santa and take a photo with the jolly elf himself! In addition there will be activities for kids. The trains are heated and bathrooms are available in our East Troy Depot. The total experience is two hours in duration, consisting of 30 minutes on the train to the Elegant Farmer, 1 hour at the Elegant Farmer, and a 30 minute train ride back to the East Troy Depot. Reservations are required.
Santa's Landing at the Abbey

Cruise the Lake on the Santa Cruise

Embark on a magical Christmas boat cruise to Santa’s Hideaway! This 40 minute lake tour cruises by lighted displays, has coloring activities for the children, and concession area to enjoy a hot cocoa and delicious cookies. Begin your magical journey with a walk through the Christmas Tree Festival where kids get to send their wish list directly to Santa. Then, ship off on our Christmas cruise boat, decked out in holiday lights and decorations, for an enchanting tour of holiday lights on the lake. Sneak a peek at the shoreline for Santa Claus himself and hear your child’s name read from his “Nice List!”
