The Venetian Festival began in 1962 as a modest boat parade organized by the Lake Geneva Jaycees. Over the decades, this event has blossomed into a multi-day family-friendly festival and grown into a beloved summer tradition, attracting visitors from near and far.

Keith Felt, local resident and Jaycees board member in charge of marketing says, “When I moved from Philly (almost 30 years ago), the Jaycees Venetian Festival was one of my earliest memories because it reminded me of all of the fun I had out there in New Jersey on the boardwalk.”

Despite its growth, the festival has retained its original charm and community-focused spirit. The Lake Geneva Jaycees ensure that the festival’s goal of promoting community spirit and supporting local initiatives is front and center!
